This is a pretty cool one, neat to find in Cali there. It is listed in Shanks Tricholoma of California, but she does list the description based on Smith from 1944, and Pacific northwest. Seems to suggest that she probably looked at material, but didn’t find them herself in the study. The photo there is from Largent, so it is found in the north coast at least. Makes you wonder how common it might be, it is out there, but not found much at least.
