One of the many grey Mycenas in the area. There are a number, and they are kinda hard to tell apart. M. galopus has been seen in the area, and can be told by the clear to white milky bleeding from the base when fresh and cut, also sometimes from the cap when broken open. But there are others, and they can be hard to tell. I’ve looked at a few under the scope, and it can be hard to get the id, even with lots of info. Oh M. leptocephala with a bleach odor, (there are I think two others with bleach odor), another with an odor of iodine, another with a odor like rotten walnuts (if that makes sense…), another with a very viscid stipe…
