While many features match, the mushroom is solitary (which happens). My biggest concern, just like with my previous posting of the similar (or identical) species, is that I seem to be the only person on the web who has photographs of Armillaria mellea with prominent debris/earth on the cap, indicating slimyness in early stages. And while according to Kuo cap can be tacky, where are the others like that?
