I thought perhaps color may be a large factor as it seems to be in the case of Amanita flavoconia. I should have assumed that would be too easy!

The upward flaring annulus may point to Amanita velatipes or A. multisquamosa or it just may be a result of this being a very young specimen. Otherwise, not enough info. in the photo.

Amamnita………….C’mon Walt, you can do better than that!
