Notes: This is something I had never seen before; a fully developed (not just a deformed, aborted cap) Lepista nuda growing on top of another Lepista nuda! Anybody seen anything like that before?

Lepista nuda does this much more commonly than other species of mushrooms. I have never seen the mushrooms form this well. I usually see it in Russula.
