it is useful to the many viewers at home, tho, if you mention that when you first post your obsie…after all, only your eyes have seen the original mushroom.

The color balance is off.

The bluishness is exaggerated by the camera – it can be fixed though – I like to keep very “cold” settings and in low light there is stronger bluish cast. The dirt also played a role.

but the blue looks exaggerated by the camera. some of the woody debris is the same shade of blue. a color balance issue would be my guess.

too many ambiguous details in these mushrooms.
let’s wait for the DNA before we slap a species name on it.
what is up with that blue hymenium color???
