I thought about it myself. What confused me was that the mushrooms were bigger than “normal” Xeromphalina (although M.Kuo talks about specimen with cap up to 25mm) and that the cluster was kind of rare, with only few scattered mushrooms. Also, the purple hue of the stem is odd – usually they’re reddish-brown.
