Notes: Two locations, one under planted pines and one under planted young live oaks. Huge cap diameter on some, largest about 10 inches, extremely dense. Yellow pores bruising blue immediately. Keys to B. regius in Aurora.

Pore color mistake

My mistake on pore color, I thought from what I saw that the original color was yellow which faded red, but I’m sure Alan is right with B. amygdalinus, which is where it keys if you go on red pore color.
