a very similar young Clitocybe was pulled from the area…

and we examined it in hand. Not a Leucopax.

These were shot thru mist, and the cap color was a bit washed out. It was not pure white. On the other hand, I remember exactly where these were growing. If Leucopax (and I don’t believe that they are) then they will still be there next time I pass thru the area.
If someone else is heading that way over the holidays give me a holler…I’ll telll YOU exactly where they are, too!
