These pics were taken at sunrise, and it was a very spectacular sunrise, so the ambient lighting would be very red, and I don’t use auto-white balance.

… these things all blue strongly upon damage. The edge, the stipe, the cap where the get touched in the least. The spore print is purple/brown as well.

i keep going back and forth with this one. the first and last photos seem to stray the most from what I’m used to. The second photo, in which they are further dehydrated, is more familiar, especially around the cap margin. the striations, as well as the outermost edge of the gills just beneath the margin seem right.

the more orange direction of these pilei worries me a little. also i can’t catch a real glimpse of the stipe in any of these pictures. i don’t hope to criticize you Tom, just want to shoot my concern out there, especially when it comes to mis/identifying these. do you have any more pictures ?
