Observation 61390: Stropharia pseudocyanea (Desm.) Morgan

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Didn’t seem as “adorned” as Stropharia ambigua, but it seemed close to it otherwise. It was a solitary example, I saw no others anywhere.

I didn’t recall it being so brilliant blue

but there was a bluish tinge to it. It seemed out of place in the forest.

But everything looks blue here?

Were these really blue? Or it that a color cast from photos in the shadows? Too much light from the sky, making everything blue. It kinda looks like everything is blue.

Stropharia pseudocyanea is a kinda rare obs. for California?
