Notes: Seen scattered in the middle of an abandoned dirt road under tan-oak, pine, and redwood. Small in size – largest specimens about 2" in height. This was my first encounter with craterellus. Since I learned what to look for, I have been lucky enough to craterellus clusters each of the last three days in different locations on the North Coast.
