Notes: Although the colour was close, I doubt that this was phalloides, but can’t tell for sure. The yellow seemed to be too bright and not enough of a metallic sheen to it.
It did have a rancid, almost like spoiled potatoes odour to it though.
It was buried very deeply in the forest duff, so deep that digging it up nearly destroyed the volva, all I can tell is there was one, not how voluminous it was. The annulus was not overly large and pendant in shape, but it may have been due to age.
