Observation 6192: Leotia lubrica (Scop.) Pers.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were fruiting in good numbers as they usually do this time of year. Interestingly they seemed to be more common in the lower pine forest than in the higher mixed forest where semi-look alike Craterellus tubaeformis was fruiting. I normally think of these species growing hand-in-hand.
