It looks very much like L. amethystina which is a much more likely possibility in Mich. It might be L.ochropurpurea. Without a view of the underside we may never know.

Laccaria amethysteo-occidentalis, myself. The entire mushrooms looks exactly like what I see here in OR, even that funny little wrinkled spot in the cap where it looks like gills got pushed through (for lack of knowing what that’s actually called).
The color is right, the stipe is right, the size seems right, but is Michigan a likely place for this?
