Observation 6229: Cortinarius laniger Fr.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: This looks remarkable similar to one I saw earlier this season (Ob 5634). At .6cm the stalk, though, is thinner than the range listed in Arora. Gills were pale brown, sinuate. Pileus was 3.8cm and faintly viscid. Fruiting with decidous oak, bay, douglas fir.
