Gill color on this obs looks much different

than the seeming pure white of 62289. Spore print colors may help with these obs.

Tough mushrooms.

The mushrooms were tough and sturdy. While this observation might be re-examined next year (I remember exact spot) the other one (62289) is unlikely – taken at our condo, there are different muchrooms here every year, depending on what fresh mulch they put out here (I guess).

tough to do this photo ID from the past…

but a spore print might have helped. The gills are coloring in a way not typical for Leucopax.
The margin is not slightly inrolled like we see even in some mature Leuxcopax, and I am not seeing the large white mycelial mat at the base in either of your WI sightings of potential Leucopax.
were these fruit bodies super-sturdy? If they are indeed Leucopax, they should pop up again in the same spot next year, and we can reexamine the ID.

there is of course variability in fungal form.
