Observation 62616: Cortinarius subgenus Telamonia (Fr.) Trog

Caps on these were up to 7.6 cm across.
The spores were ~ 9.0-10.0 X 5.9-7.3 microns and sl. rough.
Q(avg) = 1.47
KOH on the various surfaces gave brown colors.
They had a rather disagreeable odor that I couldn’t name.
They were growing in sandy soil under Live Oak and had rooting stipes that were difficult to extract in one piece.
