I spent a long time in upper bidwell before I finally started noticing these. Seems there are quite a few areas where they grow in good abundance there.
Funny, cause ive never seen them anywhere else really…

and did a full micro work-up. It is I.corydalina. Also, it did retain its blue color at the stipe base after drying.
