Observation 62784: Tremella mesenterica Retz.
When: 2011-01-24
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Fruiting all over conifer stumps today in the South Puget sound region. This species has been used in China for thousands of years an immune stimulant and Qi tonic, according to Christopher Hobbs. A great help for exhaustion while on long hikes I have noticed.
