altho these were new to me when I first sketched them in 2002, I have seen them for sale repeatedly since then at the Bowl. They are always small, all fairly uniform in size, meaty and bulbous-based. What wild strain is actually being used for this cultivated Lepista mushroom was never mentioned, other than its European source and the bluefoot name.
