Observation 62884: Hygrophoropsis macrospora (D.A. Reid) Kuyper
When: 2003-09-24
No herbarium specimen

Notes: When fresh, this mushroom was nearly white. It resembled a white chanterelle or a species of Clitocybe, but no one in our club (Eastern Penn Mushroomers) was able to key it out to either of those. It has been collected by our club on more than one occasion, but not recently.
