Observation 6293: Leratiomyces riparius (A.H. Smith) Redhead

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Any ideas? It had the vague look of an agrocybe, but with a heavily fibrillose partial veil, tough stipe, indetermined spore color (prob. brown). Doug took it home.

I don’t remember the habitat. Lots of water and fungi under the bridge since then. ;)

Ahh, yes, those do look like very pale S. riparia.
