Observation 62933: Phaeocalicium polyporaeum (Nyl.) Tibell
When: 2011-01-29
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This toothed fungi was found on a decaying branch. I believe this is one of the Steccherinum, but could go no further for identification. Any help or correction is appreciated.

What a great thing to see the enlarged shot, which I hadn’t even considered doing for identification. Usually, I reduce the size of my observation shots, simply for the ease of the downloading process, but have decided to let them stay in their original size for detail and quality. I will add a cropped shot from the original size to display the interesting and attractive details. Mark
