Observation 63541: Tremella aurantia Schwein.
When: 2011-02-16
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Separate small tiers(bunched together) instead of what I’m used to seeing from similar looking Tremella species.

Very dense and solid clusters on big leaf maple(Acer Macrophyllum)

Temp- upper 30’s today- mixed rain.

is a single sheet, upright and somewhat infolded but with a split down the back, and a very much more pinkish-orange or dull pinkish brown color.
