Observation 63867: Chroogomphus (Singer) O.K. Mill.
When: 2011-02-24
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

I have been seeing these all winter under monterrey pine. I thought they were c. vinicolor but just in poor condition. After further investagation I have trouble believing it’s the same vinicolor I find directly north of these in Niesine Marks under pine in manzanita. Cap is a paler beige/salmon color, flesh is lighter in color and gills are more spaced for a specimen of the same size. I don’t know about all the variations of who polices these things on this site.
