Observation 64123: Ganoderma brownii (Murrill) Gilb.

Very young fruiting shelves with multiple layers already formed. (8-10cm) shelf bodies.

Fruiting on Acer Macrophyllum.

Temp- upper 40’s low 50’s light rain.

That G. applanatum is European, and G. brownii is what we have in the west or at least PNW

Anyone have more info?

Why not G. applanatum?

Do you remember (or do the photos remind you) what caused you to lean to Ganoderma brownii rather than G. applanatum?
