Observation 64245: Phellinus igniarius (L.) Quél.

This specimen is infecting a Salix tree cluster. The specimen collected is 18cm wide and weighs 3 lbs.

Thought possible for P.robustus due to appearance, although robustus usually resides with Quercus hosts.

Temp- mid 50’s hard rain today and yesterday.
