Observation 64869: Scleroderma polyrhizum (J.F. Gmel.) Pers.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: This was found growing in dense sand and clay clumps in two seperate areas. No sac was noted. Is this just an overwintered G. saccatum, or could it be something different?

I think you are right. Can i use any part of the existing body help confirm this now that the spores are gone?
