Notes: Extremely large fleshy fungi fruiting within ten feet of Stropharia ambigua in Alder mulch (beneath Douglas fir trees). Note size next to Lara’s feet!

Cap very thick and fleshy with wrinkles and bumps. 5-12cm. Plane-opened cap was 12cm wide. Texture of cap was similar to what a helvella lacunosa feels like when fresh- very rubbery.

Stalk: Very striate and shiny/metallic like most enteloma species 5-6cm tall.

Gills- white-grey.

Spore print: pink
