Observation 65268: Hydnaceae sensu lato
When: 2011-04-06
Who: zaca
No herbarium specimen

Notes: At first I thought that it could be a species of the genus Hydnellum, but the spore print was white and with Melzer no reaction occurred. After, I decided to look at the spores; these are almost hialine, very small, and difficult to observe with the material I have. Approximate dimensions are 4.8 × 2.4 µm. What can be?

P.S.: these speciemens developed at the top of a log of a Quercus suber.
