Notes:
The taxonomy of Phaeogalera oedipus is difficult and highly controversial. Synonyms are: Meottomyces dissimulans, Meottomyces mutans, Phaeogalera macrospora, Phaeogallera medullosa, Phaeogalera nybergii, Hemipholiota oedipus, Pholiota oedipus, Phaeogalera dissimulans.

Substrate: rotten leaves of Populus nigra.
