Notes: A woody bracket fungi growing on dead wood, in dryer eucalypt forest.
Distinctive pinkness to growing edge. A matt, rather than glossy upper side.

Thanks Martin – I see where you’re coming from, although I. resinosum looks like quite a fleshy thing (from the photo on MO), whereas the speciman I found was a flatter, thinner, distinct ‘bracket’. I’ll propose Ischnoderma as a possibility and see what other think!

I don’t know if this species grows on eucalyptus or if it turns pink at the edge, but look at the other photos of I.r. on MO and see what you think…,
