Habitat:
Growing in group of two, from a buried stick, in an open grassy area of someone’s backyard.

Pileus:
2.5-3.2cm broad, convex to nearly plane with a central depression, tan with brown scales, marginal hairs present

Pores:
2mm deep, 2-3 pores per millimeter, tan to creamy tan, slightly descending stipe

Stipe:
3.3cm long, .4cm wide, mostly smooth but with areas of small brown scales, concolorous with pileus.

Spore Print Color:
White
