it’s not always easy to capture true color in the field…

altho I can see blue at the stipe apex on the mushroom on the left. Obviously Adolf thought so too, or he wouldn’t have added that second indoor photo.

Hm, the colours in the first image had me thinking Prunulus purus, but seeing the stipes in the second photo, those are definitely Leptonia stipes. Odd how the silvery blue colour was not captured in the field, they just look pretty uniformly purple/lilac instead.
