Notes:
As I learned from Dimitar’s site this is the common early spring Nolanea. It has a fuzzy upper stipe from the cystidia. Also a fishy odor on this one.

Recognized by sight: Else recognized this as one of two possible early spring Nolaneas and pointed me in the right direction
Used references: Dimitar’s site gives a great description, and I checked Largent’s book and it fits well
Based on microscopic features: abundant caulocystidia, some that are capitate
