Exidia recisa has usually amber-colored, punctiform basifixed fruitbodies often with crenated margins. The upside with the hymenium is smooth, vaulted, later plane to foveate deepened, with sparsely wrinkles and ribs. The underside is slightly granularly-verrucous.
