Notes: Large construction has been done from one part of campus here at Evergreen to the organic farm in the last 10 months resulting in yet another ascomycetes festival to occur similar to the Morchella explosion I posted earlier this week in Tumwater.
Most were popping up from gravel with some clusters from dead wood and moss.
There are literally hundreds of these G. esculenta fruiting in massive clusters for about 20 yards along the gravel path side- (most were 8-10cm caps) it was truly beautiful to come across today >.<
Temp- mid 50’s, sunny- although heavy rains for the last month prior to this week.
