Observation 66301: Thelephora Ehrh. ex Willd.
When: 2011-02-24
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I have posted this fungi before without an ID. I find it each year at the same time in the same area. It is rather small (5-7mm overall) and is easily missed. It does not have any aroma or descriptive properties that can be mentioned. It grows on the forest floor amongst the debris and is always the same colour. The outer growths are easily broken away from the main body.

Any images taken this amount of time after the original observation, even if collected from the same locale, deserve their own observation.
