Observation 66456: Podoscyphaceae sensu Reid
When: 2011-04-28
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Unusual shaped cap and stem. No gills to speak of and the stem tapers out towards the cap. The cap was about 3cm across and the stem about 7cm. I have not seen one like this before.

but the frayed margin makes me suspect otherwise. it has a familiar color scheme, but I can’t remember where I’ve seen it. I can only make comparisons to what Stereopsis spp. I’ve seen before, which is not many.
