Notes:
On soil in sparse juniper-sage flat, right beside mountain bike grail. Also present was Diploschistes. Photos show various stages of development, from the typical (for rock-dwelling specimens at least) subsquamulose form, to the odd soil-dwelling form with bullate areoles dominated by a single apothecium.
