Habitat: Mixed, predominantly hard wood forest, almost flat terrain, cretaceous clastic rock (flysh) bedrock, in shade, partly protected from direct rain, average precipitation ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevations 480 m (1.600 feet), alpine phytogeographical region.
Substratum: about 20 cm (8 inch) diameter trunk of a fallen hardwood tree, quite rotten (white root).
Place: East Bovec basin, south part of Rabeljnik hill, East Julian Alps, Posočje, Slovenia EC
Comments: Growing solitary, pileus diameter about 11 cm (4,3 inch), flesh succulent, soft, SP whitish.
