Observation 67010: Amanita sect. Vaginatae sensu Zhu L. Yang

Notes: This scattered group of fungi was about 6-7cm in height .The caps up to 4cm across. The stems appeared to have a type of hairy surface in tiny clumps and not evevenly spread over the stem surface. They were growing in an open grassy area of a Eucalypt area.

by the striated margin, the distance the gills are from the apex, the pattern of the stipe.
