Observation 67295: Chromosera cyanophylla (Fr.) Redhead, Ammirati & Norvell

No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were small with caps less than 1 cm across.
As can be seen from one of the photos there was other fungal action on this old log including a slime mold (Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa?).
I couldn’t get a spore print but the few spores I found were tear-shaped and ~ 6 X 3.5 microns.
Didn’t see any little hairs on the cap edge but perhaps environmental conditions caused that. They were fairly slippery and growing in a very shaded area.

in finding some morels or Spring Kings.
Didn’t collect the little brown guys.

Love the myxo and agaric fruiting together. What is the partially visible brown fungus?
