Notes: This little spring polypore was growing from a stick lying on the ground in a mowed area where a gas pipeline cuts across Liars ridge. This shot was taken overlooking the Hocking river valley.

I know that some folks just hate these mushroom in hand shots, but I think that yours does a nice job of placing your mushroom in over-all context. The following photo close-up doesn’t hurt, either.
