but I know Danny compared the spore sizes. D. perlata has huge spores, 30×10 or something. These were much more standard size, and if I remember correctly it had something to do with droplets on the spores or something similar that pointed to G. melaleucoides.

Any details on what was determined about the spores here? And what is the different between different ascos, that points to this species?
