Observation 67580: Mutinus elegans (Mont.) Fisch.
When: 2011-05-17
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

Notes:
It’s elongated shape, texture detail, and colors have led me to believe this is a “Dog Stinkhorn”-Mutinus caninus. I did not notice any scent nor did I taste it. I took several pictures of the couple that were out there, one looks like it had another fungus growing on it (I have not been able to identify that one yet-therefore it’s picture is not included in this observation).
