Notes: Another mystery shroom, 2.5cm wide cap, growing on rotted log in mixed forest, couldn’t get a spore print. Any guesses?

It can have a darker stipe but it can also be light colored. It does not have decurrent gills.

gill shots. no Hygrocybe here, though shouldn’t X. tenuipes have a slimmer, darker stipe and decurrent gills?
