Observation 67605: Nectria (Fr.) Fr.
When: 2011-05-19
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These tiny orange dots were found on a hardwood log lying in a stream bed. At first I thought they were immature eye-lash cups, but a closer look showed something different.

a bit difficult to see detail. i know these must have been hard enough to photograph as it is, but I’d be surprised to see a confident ID come with only what’s seen here. Nectria would have been my only guess, but one of them looks cupulate.
