The first 4 pictures are of mushrooms that were found growing from the ground in the woods of northeast PA, on a warm humid day on May 24th (Towards the End of Spring. The mushroom in the last 3 pictures were found at the same exact time and place, but it was growing on some dead wood. They were all picked after a series of thunderstorms, that took place through the last few days.

It is hard to tell from the pics. Is the spore print white or somewhat greenish?

Pholiota veris. Don’t know if they are toxic, but probably not. If you post in the future please make separate observations for different species. Hving two together can confuse the data base.

Are these psychedelic or poisonous? Edible? If anyone has an idea could they please comment?
